Janesville Settlement (15 May 1919)
Nellie Sharp spent Friday afternoon with Helen Farning.
Mrs. Dillenbeck called at Wm. Rowert’s Thursday afternoon.
Al. Flagg is on the sick list and under the care of Dr. Baker.
Rachael and Fred Clintsman, Roy Rowert, Anna and Sophia Waseca, Evan Hatton and
Orville Dimler attended the dance at Globe Friday night.
Hattie and Sophia Susa of Oswego are the proud owners of a beautiful player
piano. Congratulations, girls.
Mrs. Chas Churkey is able to be around again after several months’ illness.
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Kalkofen spent Thursday evening at F. Hatton’s.
Henry Kuester and family of the west side were seen in our vicinity Saturday
evening.
Donald Hatton has been on the sick list for several days with a bad case of the
croup.
Joe Thost and brother of Willard spent Sunday at the Buettner home.
Mr. and Mrs. F. Marlak spent Wednesday evening at the Lewie Webber home.
Mrs. Dillenbeck and Mrs. F. Hatton called at the Moorhead home and on Mr. and
Mrs. Kalkofen Sunday afternoon.
Dr. Boeckmann was out to see R. Waseca Tuesday. She is getting along fine now.
Mr. and Mrs. C. Hatton and son, Donald, spent Sunday at the Chas. Bostwick home.
Joe Buettner and wife and C. Loeffler and F. Puik were Loyal callers Sunday.
Mrs. Chas. Halle returned from Fond du Lac Saturday, where she spent a month
visiting relatives.
R. Waseca called on Hugo Halle Sunday evening.
Roger Dillenbeck, Evan Hatton, Mr. and Mrs. S.B. Flagg and Mr. and Mrs. Clark
Hatton were Neillsville callers Sunday afternoon.
Mr. and Mrs. Jake Solmerson and daughter, Helen, spent Sunday afternoon at
Kalkofen’s.
Mrs. Lena Boyce is at the Alvin Bushman home for a short time.
