Christie (22 May 1919)
A baby girl was born to Mr. and Mrs. Rosco Brown May 8.
J. Ampe and F. Bremer autoed to Reseberg Saturday night.
Clinton Asplin and family and Mrs. George Harper autoed to Dorchester Sunday to
visit relatives.
Friday night a large crowd gathered at the home of R. Schaele to help Miss Verna
celebrate her 13th birthday.
A jolly crowd surprised Miss Albina Snorek Friday night at the home of her
sister, Mrs. Joe Bird. Lunch was served at midnight and all had a jolly good
time.
Lou Brown and family visited at Len Boone’s Sunday.
Henry Yunker and family are enjoying their new car.
E. Gosse, R. Schaele, H. Yunker and W. Buettner autoed to Colby Sunday in the
Gosse car. The two latter gentlemen returned with the Yunker car.
Miss Gerda Tiller closed her school in Dist. No. 2, Weston and York, Friday, and
Monday the children had a picnic in Joe Bird’s woods.
