Levis (29 May 1919)

Mrs. Phillips spent Sunday afternoon with Mrs. E. Manthey.

Ernest Knoble came home from France Tuesday.

Mr. and Mrs. Holub and Mr. and Mrs. Cerneck spent Sunday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. Pokorny of Washburn.

Mrs. Braman and Miss T. Johnson called at the Munson home Friday.

Andrew Pscheidt is spending this week with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. Pscheidt.

Mr. and Mrs. F. Kubat of York Center spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. C. Shramek.

Miss Clara Wilke closed her school with a picnic at Chas. Lueck’s grove Saturday. A big crowd attended and all had a good time.

Mrs. Manthey visited her brother at Neillsville Friday.

Mr. and Mrs. Ebert, Mrs. Wm. Meier and Mrs. C. Shramek spent Sunday evening at the Holub home.

Mrs. J. Werba and baby of Chicago came to visit her sister, Mrs. C. Gentlemen, Friday, returning Monday with her mother, Mrs. Daulawski, who has been here for some time visiting with her daughter.

Mrs. Herbert Brooks, Mrs. Fred Brooks and Mrs. F. Hewett and daughter, Helen, spent Thursday at the Munson home.

Miss Tolford closed her school in the Hartung district Friday with a picnic at the schoolhouse.

W. Rath is spending a few days of this week with his father at Richland Center.

Mr. and Mrs. F. Sears and family spent Sunday at the Kegley home at Shortville.

Albert Daehnert came home from France Friday morning.
