A week ago Friday the Charles Edgar family moved from the 1st Ward to the home
in the 4th Ward that they recently purchased from Jim Hunziker, as he and his
family are moving to Medford, where he has been transferred by Foremost Dairies
to their new plant in that city.
Returning from Woodruff Saturday, where they had spent the past week enrolled at
Badger Boys Basketball Camp were Bill Mauel, Dick Peterson and Jack Barager. A
week ago Sunday they were taken to camp by Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Peterson and
daughter, while Saturday they came home with Jim Bliven and Nick Wirtala.
Mrs. Prudence Turney returned home Saturday from a three week trip touring the
British Isles. She and a friend from New York City flew from there to the isles
and spent the entire time on guided tours through the four countries of the
British Isles. Prudy was especially impressed with the beautiful flowers and
parks that are commonplace there, and her trip, she said, of the boat crossing
the Irish Sea, was beautiful.
