Bloom, Emma (1895 – 28 JUN 1968)
Gospel Tabernacle services were held in St. John's Lutheran Church in Withee at
2 o'clock Monday, July 1, 1968 for Mrs. Emma H. Bloom, 73, route 2, Withee
(Clark Co., Wis.), who died Friday at Victory Memorial Hospital in Stanley.
Burial was made in Riverside Cemetery. The Rev. Lowell Anderson officiated and
was assisted by Rev. Charles Hofflander.
Serving as pallbearers were Carl Erickson, Ray Slock, Elmer Jensen, John Blum,
John Burtard and Lester Kallberg.
The former Emma Johnson was born in Sweden and was married in Chicago to Frank
Bloom. The couple had farmed in the Owen-Withee area following their marriage.
Mrs. Bloom is is survived by two sons, Carl and Herbert, both of West Bend; a
daughter, Mrs. Esther Litten, Withee; 12 grandchildren; two brothers and a
sister.
