Tuesday afternoon, July 16th, the Havenet Nursing Home had their usual monthly
birthday party, but this one was rather special, as the two oldest residents of
the home celebrated their birthdays.
Mrs. Amelia Helm, former of Dorchester (Clark Co., Wis.), was 97 years old on
July 2, 1968. She has been a resident since January 1968.
Ernest Thieme of rural Owen (Clark Co.) will be 97 years of age on the 29th of
July. He has been a resident of the Home since March 1965.
Bingo was enjoyed by all, after which a birthday cake and ice cream were served.
