Hanson, Bernadine J. (Scheuneman) (29 SEP 1931 – 24 JUN 2017)
Bernadine J. Hanson, age 85, of Abbotsford, passed away on Saturday, June 24,
2017 at Dycora Transitional Health and Living Center in Abbotsford.
To honor Bernadine’s wishes, family and friends are invited to a graveside
prayer service that will be held at 5:30PM on Friday, June 30, 2017 at West
Spencer Cemetery in the Town of Sherman, Clark County.
Bernadine was born September 29, 1931 in Wausau, the daughter of Paul and
Elizabeth (Syring) Scheuneman. She was married to Verland Hanson on August 16,
1952 in Abbotsford. Together, they owned and operated the Green Lake Hotel in
Green Lake, WI. She later was employed in various factories until her
retirement.
She will be remembered as a friendly, gentle soul with an ability to make
friends with all those who met her. In her spare time, Bernadine enjoyed working
in her flower beds, taking long walks and solving crossword puzzles.
She is survived by her sister Audrey Gadke of Loyal; her niece Debra (Fred)
Konrardy; her nephews: David (Marcia) Gadke, Peter Gadke, Michael Gadke, Gary
(Bobbi) Gadke, Jerry (Kristine) Gadke, Thomas (Roxanne) Gadke along with other
relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Verland and a
brother-in-law Arnold Gadke.
Her arrangements are under the care of Life Tributes Funeral Home-Spencer.
