(Crowded our last week)
Five Boy Scouts of the Curtiss Troop enjoyed a week's outing at Camp Phillips.
Scout Master, Peter Johnson, spent the first few days at camp with them, and
Rev. Roger Tellock finished the week. Scouts attending were Robert and Joe
Tauchen, Rex Menzel, Tom Frane and Done Witt. They all returned home Saturday
afternoon.
Mrs. Douglas Graham and sons of Joliet, Illinois spent the past week visiting at
the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Thompson. On Wednesday they all
drove to Weyauwega to spend the day with Mrs. Thompson's brother, Mr. and Mrs.
Malcolm Larson.
Roy Ostenson is a patient at St. Joseph's Hospital at Marshfield, where he was
taken by ambulance last week.
Harvey Rosenquist and daughter, Jeanne, and Mr. and Mrs. David Wonderland of
Waukegan, Illinois were weekend guests at the home os Mr. and Mrs. Clarence and
Mrs. and Mrs. Albert Schultz and Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Kuegler and other
relatives in this area.
Mr. and Mrs. Steve Konik of Cleveland, former Curtiss residents, were recent
callers on friends here.
Mr. and Mrs. Orin Johnson of Chicago called at the Jacob Johnson home on Friday.
Other guests there during the past week were Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Poeske of
Wausau and Mrs. Myron Brecke and family of Stetsonville.
