Dell, Della May (18 MAY 1901 – 12 AUG 1968)
Tomorrow afternoon, Friday, August 16, 1968, funeral services for Mrs. Hazen
Dell will be held at the Hoeper and Kraut Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev.
Robert Goessling of the United Church of Christ, with interment to be made at
Riverside Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be three nephews and three grandsons.
Mrs. Dell, nee Della May Craig, was born May 18, 1901 at Irvine, Wisconsin. She
passed away Monday afternoon, August 12, 1968 at Victory Memorial Hospital at
Stanley, where she had been hospitalized for nine weeks, and following a long
illness.
On May 1, 1918 she was united in marriage to Hazen Dell in a ceremony performed
at Richland Center. The couple then moved to Owen, where she has since made her
home.
She is survived by her husband, a son, Della Daniel Dell, Dorchester; a
daughter, Mrs. Joyce Stanford, Milwaukee; two sisters, Mrs. Nellie Wilson, Owen
and Mrs. Mary Bender, Warrens; two brothers, Newell Craig, Racine and Frank
Craig, San Bernardino, California; eight grandchildren and fourteen
great-grandchildren.
