Vietnam, August 1, 1968 – Marine Corporal Harry A. Strey, 21, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Arthur B. Strey of route 2, Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.), is serving with the
First Marine Division is South Vietnam.
As a member of the Division, he recently participated in Operation Allenbrook.
The operation was conducted against the enemy in the Go Noi Island area, 15
miles south of DaNang.
Operation Allenbrook was conducted by the First Marines to find enemy forces and
destroy their capability to strike against the DaNang area.
