Miller, Robert “Boone” J. (6 APR 1956 - 28 FEB 2011)

Robert “Boone” J. Miller, age 54, of Medford, passed away on Monday, February 28, 2011, at his residence, in the township of Medford.

Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, March 5 at the Jump River Community Center, Jump River, WI, with Pastor Barry Johnson officiating.

Visitation will be held at 11:00 AM until time of memorial services at 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 5 at the Jump River Community Center, Jump River.

Robert was born on April 6, 1956, at Stanley, WI, to James and Rita (Couilliard) Miller. He attended Gilman area elementary schools and attended Gilman High School. On July 1, 1978 at Sheldon, WI, he was married to Debra Wiemer, and she survives.

After his education, he entered the US Army where he served from 1974-1978. After the service, he worked various jobs in the Sheldon & Jump River areas. He moved to Medford and worked as a carpenter for George Jessick Construction for a period of time. In 1999 he started Bob Miller Construction which he owned and operated until the time of his death. He enjoyed woodworking, hunting, fishing, motorcycle riding & spending time with his family & friends.

He was a member of Thursday Night Hunters; Choppers Bar Pool Team; and a Retired member of the Free Spirit Motorcycle Club.

Robert is survived by his wife, Debbie Miller of Medford; children Robert (Jenny) Miller of Goodrich & Cory (Lizz Kuhls) Miller of Medford; 3 grandchildren; siblings Patty Miller of Carlton, MN & Ruth (Jim) Shaw of Sheldon; Jim (Karen) Miller of Jump River, Billy (Antionette) Miller of Jump River, Paul (Diane) Miller of Sheldon, Chris (Kathleen) Miller of Sheldon.

He is predeceased by his parents, James and Rita (Couilliard) Miller; and siblings Judy Miller and Russell Miller.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be given to the family for a future designation.
