Ruotsi, Reino (7 SEP 1912 – 8 AUG 1968)
Former Owen (Clark Co., Wis.) resident, Reino Ruotsi, died in Waukegan, Ill. on
August 8, 1968. He was born at Ishpeming, Michigan September 7, 1912. He came to
Clark County with his folks in 1914 and settled on a farm in the town of
Longwood area, where his father passed away in 1931.
He left Owen and went to Waukegan, Illinois, where he enlisted in the Navy and
served as an aviation mechanic for four years during World War II.
He leaves to mourn, his mother, Ann, and a step-father, Mike Harju, living at
Lake Worth, Florida; his wife, Francis; two sons, Richard, 23, and James, 21,
residing at 1705 9th Street, Waukegan, Illinois, and also a younger brother,
Haagert, and two nephews, who also make their home in Waukegan.
He was buried with full military honors August 12, 1968 at Waukegan, Illinois.
