Rhonda Mattson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Mattson, city (Owen, Clark Co.,
Wis.), returned to the States on the 22nd of August, which date marked the
completion of a 22-day European tour as a member of the Wisconsin State
University, Eau Claire choral group.
The group left Eau Claire on the 31st of July, going to Chicago, from where they
flew via jet to Montreal, Canada, and from there to the European continent.
They gave concerts in Geneva and Lausanne, Switzerland; Lichtenstein; Salzburg
and Vienna, Austria; Munich and Nuremberg, Germany. In France they sang in Paris
and In London, England.
Miss Mattson is a 1967 graduate of O-W High School, where she excelled in vocal
music and piano, and as a sophomore this fall at WSU, Eau Claire, she is
studying to become a nurse.
