Buss, Louise (12 FEB 1898 – 24 AUG 1968)
Funeral services for Louise L. Buss, 70, Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), who died
Saturday at Memorial Hospital at Stanley, were conducted at two o'clock Monday
afternoon at the Hoeper and Kraut Funeral Home here. The Rev. Arthur Raasch
officiated, with burial being made in St. Pau's Lutheran Cemetery in the town of
Green Gove.
Pallbearers were James Clements, George DuChaine, Charles Winkler, Fred Lulloff
Jr., Robert Lulloff and G. Bobbe.
Mrs. Buss was born February 12, 1898 in the town of Green Grove (Clark Co.,
Wis.). Her marriage to Herman Buss, who preceded her in death in 1950, took
place in 1918 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, town of Green Grove.
After their marriage, the couple farmed near Curtiss, and later moved to the
village of Curtiss. After the death of her husband, Mrs. Buss had made her home
with her children in Owen.
Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. James (Waunette) Clements, Blue Lake, Mich.;
Mrs. George (Wanda) DuChaine, Highwood, Ill.; and Mrs. Charles (Joyce) Winkler,
Libertyville, Ill.; a son, Norbert, Libertyville, Ill.; two brothers, Bernard
and Fred, both of route 1, Owen, and 10 grandchildren.
