Visiting this past week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Weddig were Mr. and
Mrs. K.E. Merrill and daughters, Pamela and Tamera, from Gilroy, California, and
Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur E. Owens of Nutley, New Jersey.
Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Looker were visiting friends and neighbors at St. Cloud,
Minnesota, Anoka, Minnesota, and Bloomer and Eau Claire.
This week Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Wedding are at Rochester, Minn., enabling him to
take therapy treatments designed to hurry along the recovery from major surgery,
which he underwent several months ago.
Sunday evening the Robert Missling family returned to their home at Shawano
after being here to visit their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Missling and Mr. and
Mrs. Vic Decker.
Visiting at the Barager cottage over the weekend were Karen Rabska, Mike Kitze
and Mike Gardner, guests of Barbara Barager and the Barager family.
Mr. and Mrs. Clark Couillard and daughter spent the weekend camping at Mead Dam.
Mrs. Glen Tieman visited over the weekend in Belvidere, Illinois with her
husband.
Jean Barager returned Friday from a two week trip touring with two girlfriends
several of the eastern and New England state. They made visits to Washington,
D.C., Deal, New Jersey, Boston, Mass., Bangor, Maine, and then home b way of
Niagara Falls; through Canada to Detroit, Mich., and then to the Mackinaw
Bridge, and home. Accompanying her on the trip were Pat Ogurek of Thorp and Sue
Kahl of New Richmond.
