Curtis Rohland, son of Mr. and Mrs. Julius Rohland of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), will receive ordination into the Holy Ministry this Sunday, September 22, 1968, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Withee. The Rite of Ordination will be performed during the 10:30 a.m. service, and will be conducted by Rev. L.A. Urman.

He received his elementary and secondary education in the Owen-Withee school system, graduating in 1959. He attended Concordia Junior College in Milwaukee, 1959-1962, and received a B.A. degree from Concordia Senior College, Fort Wayne, Indiana in 1964.

In May of this year, Mr. Rohland received a B.D. degree from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, Missouri. His year of vicarage was spent in Orlando and Largo, Florida. All three schools attended are education institutions of the Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod, established primarily for the training of teachers and ministers for spreading the Good News of Christ's salvation throughout the world.

Next mont Mr. Rohland will be installed as Assistant Pastor at the Lutheran Church of Our Savior, Kansas City, Kansas. Beginning in January 1969, he will also be attending the University of Kansas, doing work to the M.A. and PhD. Degrees in Russian and East European History.

In 1964 Mr. Rohland was married to LaMae Burdorf of Green Isle, Minnesota, and they are the parents of one son, John Edward.

The new pastor is the third son of the St. John's congregation to enter the ministry. The other two are the Rev. Clarence Cizek of Chippewa Falls and the Rev. Eugene Knoppel of Blue Island, Illinois.
