Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Knaack and son of Hayward visited his mother, Mrs. Charles Knaack Sr. in Owen, and also with other relatives over the weekend.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Missling and daughter Wendy spent the weekend here at the Victor Decker home. Saturday the two men enjoyed a fishing trip on Yellow Lake. They returned to their home in Shawano Sunday night.

The Nobert Pabich family enjoyed an outing over the weekend camping at Rib Mountain.

Mrs. Lee Jensen and Mrs. George Shattuck attended the Grand Chapter of the Eastern Star Lodge in Milwaukee this week, from Tuesday until today. Mrs. Jensen is Worth Matron of the local chapter and Mrs. Shattuck a conductress.

Shelbie A. Amacher, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Amacher, 612 E. Third St., Owen, is one of 344 new students at Ripon College this fall. With a total enrollment of 1006, Ripon is a traditionally small private, co-education, liberal arts college.

Mr. and Mrs. Jalmer Heikkinen and Mr. and Mrs. John Conner went to Stetsonville on September 8 to help celebrate the 30th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Brecke Sr..

Postmaster H.A. Wendt and J.R. Barager were business callers in Stevens Point Thursday afternoon.

Friday noon, W.K. Doonan left for Waukegan, Ill., where he intends to spend the next four weeks visiting with his sister, Mrs. Henry Miller.

Sunday evening Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Woller returned home from Chicago, where they had been for three days attending a meeting of Mobil Oil Dealers.
