Beacher, Emil (15 FEB 1894 – 14 OCT 1968)
Funeral services for Emil Beacher were conducted from the Hoeper and Kraut
Funeral Home at two o'clock Wednesday afternoon, October 16, 1968. Rev. H.W.
Luetkehoelter of Nazareth Lutheran Church, Withee, was in charge of the final
rites, and burial was made at Riverside Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers were Roy Volk, Ray Purgett, James Barrett, William Pape,
Floyd Thorne, and Ed Maurina.
Mr. Beacher, 74, died Monday, October 14, 1968 at Memorial Hospital at
Neillsville of complications attributed to old age.
Emil Beacher was born in Indiana on February 15, 1894, and received his
education there. He moved to Owen (Clark Co., Wis.) about 50 years ago, and had
farmed in the towns of Holway and Hixon. He had never married.
He is survived by two nephews, Gary Carley, Milwaukee and Milton Beacher, Elgin,
Ill., and one sister, Mrs. Ross Carley, Madison.
He was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.
