Bleck, Ronald D. “Buff” (16 NOV 1946 - 11 JUL 2017)
Ronald D. “Buff” Bleck, 70, Phillips, died on Monday, July 10, 2017, at the
Aspirus Wausau Hospital, in Wausau.
He was born on November 16, 1946, in Marshfield, WI, the son of Delton and
Vaughan (Trischa) Bleck.
He spent his youth and schooling in the Marshfield area. He was married to Kerry
Reiter on August 25, 1973, in Stetsonville, WI. They celebrated over 43 years of
marriage.
He was employed as a logger and then for the Chevron Mining Corporation as a
supervisor at the Ladysmith Mine, Ladysmith, WI, for many years prior to his
retirement.
In his free time his family described him as an avid hunter, fisherman, and a
loving father grandfather and great grandfather. He was a member of the
Wisconsin Bear Hunters Assn.
He is survived by his wife Kerry, Phillips, by 3 children: Kelly (Jill) Bleck
and Kimberley (Lance) Heizler, all of Phillips, Kayley (Dennis Hill) Bleck,
Glidden, by his grandchildren Cassie, Hayley “Tootie”, Brandon, Brianna, Delton,
Storm, and Trevor, by 1 great grandson Eli, by 1 Brother: Richard (Amy) Bleck,
Idaho, by 1 Step Brother: Paul Luening, Minneapolis, and by 1 Sister-In-Law:
Marlene Bleck, Phillips.
He was preceded in death by his parents, by 1 brother Gene and by 1 infant
sister.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
The Heindl Funeral Home, Phillips, is in charge of the arrangements.
