Delores Rinehart is having a week's vacation from her employment at Medford
Memorial Hospital. On February 3rd she will continue her nursing career at St.
Joseph's Hospital and Wood County Center, Marshfield.
Attending a surprise birthday party on Mrs. Don Rinehart on January 25 were Mr.
and Mrs. Herbert Fischer and Darlene, Delores Rinehart of Medford; Mr. and Mrs.
Melvin Fischer, Dorchester; Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Rinehart, Mr. and Mrs. Lee
Jensen, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Thieme and family, and Mrs. Vincent Frane and sons
of Owen.
Mr. and Mrs. H.J. Callaway were business callers and visitors in Rice Lake
Tuesday night and Wednesday forenoon.
Paul Stasek Sr. is a patient at St. Joseph's Hospital at Marshfield, being
admitted Monday for medical treatment and observation.
Mr. and Mrs. Dale Amacher and family spent the weekend in Michigan with Mrs.
Amacher's sister and family, and also with friends in Chicago.
Mr. and Mrs. Gene Berner and family spent the weekend at the home of her
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Ludwig.
Mike Kitze and Karen Rabska returned to WSU, River Falls on Sunday, after
spending the weekend at the home of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Kitze
and Mr. and Mrs. Herman Rabska, Withee.
Attending the state school board convention in Milwaukee last week were board
members Bertel Miller, Edward Potocnik, Allen Niemi and J.R. Barager, and Supt.
Earl Baumgardner. Messrs. Potocnik, Miller and Niemi were accompanied by their
wives.
Friday evening J.R. Barager visited in Madison with three of his children, Jim,
Barb, and Jean, and attended the basketball game at Middleton, which Monroe won
92 to 65. Jean teaches at Monroe and is the cheerleader coach. Upon his return
home he was accompanied by Barb and Dennis Galarowicz, who are enjoying a break
between semesters at their respective homes.
