Bathke, Wayne A. “Buck” Jr. (8 JAN 1968 - 18 JUL 2017)
Wayne A. “Buck” Bathke, Jr., 49 of Thorp, died Tuesday, July 18th at his home
peacefully of natural causes.
He was born on January 8, 1968 the son of Wayne and Diane (Scheidler) Bathke,
Sr. Buck was raised in the Cadott area and graduated from Cadott High. Buck
truly lived life his way. He had a great passion for hunting, fishing, filling
everyone boots, his family and his friends.
If you knew Wayne you knew he had a heart full of kindness. Buck had a very
special personality, fun loving and was full of BS. He truly was unique. If you
knew him you loved him; he always made you feel that you were special.
He is survived by his children, Heather (Matthew Winters) Marshall of Lake
Wissota, Kayla (Richard Gain) Bathke of Boyd, Wayne L. Bathke of Stanley,
Kaitlin Gadke of Boyd, Kevin Nelson of Cadott and Tyler (Marilyn Schneck) Gauger
of Boyd, his mother, Diane (Lyell) Amdahl of Cadott, grandmother, Anita Marion,
his siblings, Kelly Winger, Jodell (Jim) Gadke, Lea (Bill) Harel, Jean (Richard)
Duval, Lyell Amdahl, James (Nancy) Amdahl, his grandchildren, Dominick, Hailie,
Adrian, Arianna, Zoey and Colten, and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews;
he loved them all and made them feel special.
Buck is preceded in death by his father, Wayne A Bathke, Sr., his grandparents,
Robert P. Scheidler, Walter Bathke and Dorothy Hatfield and his brother, Lonny.
A visitation will be from 2 until 5 PM on Saturday, July 22nd at the Plombon
Funeral Home-Stanley.
Interment will take place at a later date in Big Drywood Cemetery.
