Laube, Henry H. (2 MAY 1901 – 1 FEB 1969)
At two o'clock Wednesday afternoon, February 5, 1969, funeral services for Henry
H. Laube, 67, were held at the United Church of Christ, Owen. Rev. Robert E.
Goessling officiating, with burial being made at Riverside Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers were Jack Fritz, John Prepulah, Frank Reinhart, Alex
Mrotek, Charles Pribbernow and Tom Jablonic.
Mr. Laube passed away Saturday, February 1, 1969, of an apparent heart attack,
at St. Joseph's Hospital at Marshfield, where he had been a patient for one
week.
Mr. Laube was born May 2, 1901 in Rock Island, Ill., and moved with his parents
in 1907 to a farm in the town of Green Grove (Clark Co., Wis.). He spent the
remainder of his life in Green Grove Township. On September 29, 1926 he was
married to the former Minnie Franz, who survives him.
Others mourning his passing are two sons, Harold and Richard, both of rural
Owen; two daughters, Mrs. Virgil (Edna) Bublitz and Mrs. Ed (Bernice) Potocnik,
Owen; 18 grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Theresa Farkel, Milan, Ill., and Mrs.
Marie Meyer, Port Angeles, Washington; and a brother, Carl, of Owen.
He was preceded in death by two brothers.
