Tomczak, Kathleen J. "Kitty" (Krug) (16 AUG 1949 - 23 JUL 2017)

Kathleen J. "Kitty" Tomczak, age 67, of Owen, passed away on Sunday, July 23, 2017 at Marshfield Medical Center.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 27, 2017 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Withee. The Rev. Tom Myhre will officiate. Family and friends are welcome from 12:00 p.m. until time of service Thursday at the church.

Kathleen was born August 16, 1949, the daughter of Dean and Adeline (Lentz) Krug in Stanley. She graduated from Owen-Withee High School. Kathleen was united in marriage to Michael Tomczak in November of 1967. She worked for Abby Vans as a driver for 30 years retiring in 2016.

Kathleen enjoyed bird watching, playing with her dogs, reading and going to the casino. Most importantly, she cherished her family especially her grandchildren.

Kathleen is survived by her husband of 49 years, Michael of Owen; four children: Lannie (Beth) of Atwood; Dean (Vickie) of Withee, Duane of Edgar and Tracy Harbaugh of Withee; six grandchildren: Yukon, Tia, Dylan, Damian, Werner and Maeve. She is further survived by one sister, Christine (Gary) Fritz of Owen; three brothers: Michael Krug of Westboro, Mark (Melissa) Krug of Greenwood and Ricky (Sandy) Krug of Stratford; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her granddaughter, Torrie and her brother, Wayne.
