Wolfram, Edith J. (6 DEC 1896 – 2 MAR 1969)
Mrs. Arthur (Edith Josephine) Wolfram, 72, passed away at her home on Sunday,
March 2, 1969 of a coronary attack. Funeral services were held on Wednesday,
March 5, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Curtiss. Rev. Roger Tellock
officiated, with burial being made at Riverside Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Joe Hiebsch, Don Zukowski, Howell A. Stuve, Clarence
Strohkirch, S.E. Grimes, and Lee Jensen.
Mrs. Wolfram was born December 6, 1896 in Lanesboro, Minnesota. She was married
to Arthur Wolfram on June 27, 1916 in St. Paul, Minnesota. They have lived in
Owen (Clark Co., Wis.) since 1917.
For many years she was employed at the Master Package Corporation, until her
retirement three years ago. She was a member of the Royal Neighbors Lodge, St.
Paul’s Lutheran Church, Curtiss, and the Eastern Star Lodge of Owen.
Survivors include her husband, two sisters, Mrs. Alfred (Agnes) Bjorklund,
Minneapolis, Minn., and Mrs. Helen James, Seattle, Wash.; a brother, Julius
Myhre, Turtle Lake; one son, Rodger Wolfram of Eau Claire; a daughter, Mrs.
Norman (Gloria) Erickson, Stoughton, and nine grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, two sisters, and a daughter.
