The christening of Keith Paul Klabon, who was born to Mr. and Mrss. Kenneth P.
Klabon of Chicago, Ill., on February 1, 1969, was held at St. John's Lutheran
Church at Withee on Sunday, March 16, 1969. Sponsors for the baptism were Kirby
Klabon, Withee, and Paulette Hitzke of Chicago, Illinois. A dinner in honor of
the occasion was held at the home of his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Theodore
Klabon, Withee (Clark Co., Wis.).
Guests attending were Mr. and Mrs. Larry Klabon and Melissa, La Crosse; Miss Kay
Klabon, Madison; Mrs. Alvin Hitzke, Bill, Paulette and David, of Chicago; Mr.
and Mrs. Rox Copper, Rev. and Mrs. Leroy Urman and family, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur
Klabon and family, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Jensen and family, Withee; Mr. and Mrs.
Arthur "Skip" Klabon and Mary Ann Fritz, Owen; Mrs. George Amend, Ronald Amend
and Georgia Amend, Chicago, Ill.; Mrs. Gerald Leese, Mundelein, Ill.; and Mrs.
David Hardt, of Twin Lakes. Great-grandfather, Louis Klabon, Withee, was unable
to attend due to the illness of Mrs. Klabon.
