Over the weekend Mrs. Ted Roberson visited her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and
Mrs. James Roberson, in Milwaukee, and on Sunday accompanied them to Madison,
where they spent the day with Bill Roberson. That evening, Mrs. Roberson
accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Louis Burhop to Owen, as they had spent the weekend in
Madison visiting their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Switzky.
Mr. and Mrs. Tom Miller enjoyed the weekend in Chicago visiting with relatives
on his side of the family.
Monday forenoon Mr. and Mrs. Otto Kowalk left for their cottage on Turtle Lake,
where they will remain throughout the ensuing summer.
Dr. R.E. Arneson left Tuesday for Madison, where he is attending a three-day
clinic being conducted by the Veterinary Medical Association of Wisconsin on the
campus us the university.
Pfc. Russel King returned to Camp…home after a 20-day stay at his parent's home,
Mr. and Mrs. Wm. King. He is now due to go overseas.
Gene Freitag of Lake Bluff, Ill. was a weekend visitor in this vicinity,
visiting at the home of his sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. King.
Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Buss entertained guests Sunday in honor of their daughter,
Diane's, confirmation. Guests present were Debra Ridpath, Mr. and Mrs. Dale
Raatz and family, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Quelle and Jerome, Mrs. Sylvia Wilson and
Wendy, and Robert Buss.
Guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harley German the weekend of April 20 were
Mr. and Mrs. Archie Melvin of Abbotsford, Mr. and Mrs. Donald German and family
of St. Paul, Minn., Mr. and Mrs. Warren and family, Ma. And Mrs. Marvin German
and family, and Mr. and Mrs. David Spanbauer of Oshkosh.
