James A. Majka, a student at the University of Minnesota's College of Veterinary
Medicine, was honored on Tuesday, May 13, 1969 at the college's third annual
Recognition and Convocation. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Petrauski of
route 1, Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), and received the recognition for being named
to the Dean's Honor Roll for scholastic achievement.
Donald K. Smith, Administrative Vice President of the University, presented a
special address at the Convocation in the St. Paul Student Center, where 65
students of the College received awards and scholarships for outstanding
academic achievement and service.
