Fakes, Walter C. (29 MAY 1916 – 22 MAY 1969)
Funeral services were held recently in Merced, California for Walter Carl Fakes,
52, a former resident of the town of Green Grove (Clark Co., Wis.), who died May
22, 1969 in a California hospital.
Mr. Fakes was born May 29, 1916, in the town of Green Grove. At the tim of his
death he was foreman of Sunshine Hatcheries. He in the Merced and Snelling areas
for 23 years.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Thelma Fakes, Merced, Calif.; five daughters;
two sons; three grandchildren, and three brothers, including Arthur Fakes of
Colby.
