The former Miss Cynthia Louise Parker, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Parker,
Mather, Wis., was given in marriage by her father, to Donald L. Fagan, son of
Mr. and Mrs. Daniel R. Fagan, Withee (Clark Co., Wis.).
The Rev. Hubert Crubel presided at the nuptial ceremony in the Holy Rosary
Church, Owen, at 11 a.m. on May 16, 1969.
The bride, carrying pink orchids and ivy, entered the church wearing an A-line
floor length gown of lace, with a taffeta coat and train, and a headpiece of
organza pearls securing a bouffant veil of illusion.
Her aides were Miss Carol Parker, Milwaukee, the maid of honor, and Mrs. John
(Norma) Lyman of Milwaukee, and Mrs. Donald (Elaine) Kohn of Withee, the brides
matrons.
The maid of honor and the brides matrons ensemble were shocking pink A-line with
a pale pink lace bodice and puffed sleeves, and a headpiece of pink flowers with
veils.
Angela Parker, Merrillan, was the flower girl, and Kevin Pelitsie, Milwaukee,
the ring bearer.
Serving as best man was John Pozdell, Stanley, and as groomsman, John Lyman,
Milwaukee, and Donald Kohn, Withee. Ushering were John Weber, Dorchester and
Verlan Parker, Milwaukee
.
The wedding dinner was served at the church hall. The reception and dance took
place at Meadowview Country Club, Owen.
The newlyweds live in Milwaukee where he works at Briggs & Stratton. Mr. Fagan
graduated from Owen-Withee High School in 1959.
