The degree of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine was conferred on John E. Kolpanen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Kolpanen, rural Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), by the University of Minnesota on June 7, 1969. At the graduation banquet on June 6, Dr. Clough Cullen administered the Veterinarian's Oath to the graduating veterinarians, and urged them to assume their responsibilities, not only by continuing education and professionals standards of practice, but by taking an active interest in the affairs of local, state and national organizations and their community.
