Dr. Leonard Haas, president of the State University at Eau Claire was the
speaker at commencement exercises held at Memorial High School on Wednesday,
June 4, 1969, for graduates of District One Technical Institute, Eau Claire. The
class numbered 445 students and included among them were Iris A. Petke, Withee
(Clark Co., Wis.), who took a general clerical course, and Robert E. Peterson,
Withee, who studied automotive mechanics.
