Mizia, Mildred C. (1928? – 5 August 2017)
Mildred C. Mizia of Waukesha entered into Eternal Life Satruday, Aug. 5, 2017,
at the age of 89 years. She was born on her family farm in Neillsville, the
daughter of Benjamin and Hattie (Susa) Bodwin. Mildred married Walter V. Mizia,
and they spent many years together.
She worked for Clark, Amoco, and BP Oil companies. She also worked as an
executive secretary to Mr. Elmer Winter, The CEO of ManPower, for many years.
Mildred and Walter wee a very good team as real estate brokers in Milwaukee, and
when they moved to Clearwater, FL. She enjoyed traveling and most of all, her
Catholic faith was very important to her.
Mildred will be sadly missed by her siblings Hubert F. Bodwin of Waukesha, and
Joseph D. Bodwin of Florida; nieces and nephews, Lorna (Owe) Petersen, Ernest (Aksorn)
Logemann, Susan (Mark) Schneider, Gerald (Dorothy) Logemann, Benjamin (Jordan)
Bodwin, and Charlene (nee Bodwin); and many other loving nieces, nephews, and
friends.
Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Walter, and sister
Irene Logemann.
A visitation for Mildred will be held Friday, Aug. 11, 2017, from 9:30 a.m.
until 10:45 a.m. followed by a mass of Christian burial at 11 a.m. at St. Mary
Catholic Church, 225 S. Hartwell Ave., Waukesha, WI 53186. Rev. Howard Haase
will be officiating. The burial will take place at 1 p.m. at Mount Olivet
Catholic Cemetery, 3801 W. Morgan Ave., Milwaukee, WI 53221. (Please met inside
the gates). In lieu of flowers, memorials in Mildred’s name to St. Mary Catholic
Church (see address above) would be appreciated.
