Brett Ludwig, a graduate of Colby High School, was officially welcomed as a
federal bankruptcy judge of the Eastern District of Wisconsin at a June 29
investiture ceremony at the U.S. courthouse in Milwaukee.
Ludwig, who earned his bachelor’s degree at UW-Stevens Point and his law degree
at the University of Minnesota Law School, was appointed to a 14 year term on
the federal court.
He previously worked as a partner at the law firm of Foley and Lardner and as an
adjunct professor at Marquette University Law School.
