Brehm, James "Jim" (26 JUN 1943 - 14 AUG 2017)

James "Jim" Brehm, 74, of Colby, passed away Monday, August 14, 2017 at Marshfield Medical Center. Friends and Family are welcome from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Abbotsford, WI.

Jim was born June 26, 1943 in Marshfield, WI to Melvin and Jocelyn (Wellman) Brehm. He graduated from Colby High School. He was joined in marriage to Joan Kawa on May 7, 1966 at St. Francis Xavier Church in Knowlton, Wisconsin.

Jim was dairy farmer in the township of Hull/Frankfort. After retiring from farming, he worked for the township of Frankfort. Jim was an avid fisherman. He also enjoyed cheering on the L.A. Rams and L.A. Dodgers.

Jim is survived by two sons; Russell Brehm of Phoenix, AZ and Andrew Brehm of Dorchester, WI; two grandchildren, Trevor and Trista Brehm. He is further survived by two sisters: Elizabeth Brehm of Marshfield, and Janet (David) Donovan of Hixson, TN and many other family and friends.

Jim is preceded in death by his parents, his wife: Joan (Oct. 24, 2010); his daughter, Sheila Brehm; a brother, Gerald Brehm, and a sister, Pat Heckel.
