Bucki, Lyman W. (28 MAY 1941 - 11 AUG 2017)

Lyman W. Bucki, 76, Medford, died Friday, August 11 unexpectedly at his residence.

Lyman was born on May 28, 1941 in Medford, WI to the late Walter and Blondina (Kloth) Bucki. He attended Cloverdale Grade School and Medford High School where he graduated in 1959.

Lyman married the love of his life Patricia Ann (Guziak) on April 26, 1962 in Medford, WI. He enjoyed spending time with his wife and family. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, woodwork, golfing and the Brewers. Lyman worked as a meat manager for 20 years before taking over Bucki Manufacturing where he worked for 25 years. He also worked as a custodian at Aspirus Hospital for 12 years where he retired in 2010. Lyman was a member of the Taylor County Sportsman Club and Medford Bowman.

Lyman is survived by his wife Patricia Ann Bucki of Medford; Children: Bruce (Tami) Bucki of Medford, Brian (Becky) Bucki of Medford, Blake (Michelle) Bucki of Medford, Bradley (Jessica) Bucki of Eau Claire; Grandchildren: Jason, Jake, Emily, Taylor, Logan, Lindsey, Matthew and Alex; Great-Grandchildren: Alec, Lilian, Raegan and Lydia; Brother: Walter (Myrna) Bucki of Dresser; Mother-In-Law: Geneva Guziak of Medford and many other family and friends.

Lyman is preceded in death by his parents Walter and Blondina (Kloth) Bucki and Father-In-Law Michael Guziak Sr.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 15 at Community United Church of Christ in Medford with Pastor Mary Jo Laabs officiating. Visitation will be held at Hemer Funeral Home in Medford on Monday, August 14 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Visitation will continue on Tuesday, August 15 at 10:00 AM until the time of service 11:00 AM at the church. Cremation rites will be accorded following funeral services.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Lyman’s family to be designated at a later date.
