Cliver, Lorin C. (22 AUG 1963 - 11 AUG 2017)

Lorin C. Cliver, age, 53 of Unity passed away on Friday, August 11, 2017 at his tavern in Unity.

Lorin was born on August 22, 1963, the son of John and Denise (Burling) Cliver in River Falls, WI. His first marriage took place on February 20, 1993 to Sandra Jean Elpert, they later divorced.

Lorin later married Barb Noeldner on his birthday, August 22, 2010 in Alma, WI on the Mississippi River overlooking the bluffs.

Lorin was a 1981 graduate of Colby High School and a 1983 graduate from Mid State Technical College in Wisconsin Rapids, with a degree in diesel mechanics. He was a mechanic and service manager for Chili Implement until purchasing the Gin Mill Tavern in 2001 located in Unity, WI.

Lorin is survived by his wife: Barb of Unity, WI, parents: John and Denise Cliver, children: Alicia (Curtis) Vaughan of Abbotsford, WI and Mason Storm Cliver of Dorchester, WI, step-son: Cole Noeldner of Medford, WI, step-granddaughter: Scarlett Noeldner, brothers: Kevin Cliver of Riplinger, WI and Mitchell Cliver of Withee, WI. He is further survived by many aunts, uncles, great aunts, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Charles and Norma Cliver and his maternal grandparents: Verda Jacobs Ostrander and Juel Lawrence Burling.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
