Stenman, Carl O. (26 JAN 1908 – 17 AUG 1969)
Funeral services for Carl Olaf Stenman, 61, were held at 10:30 Wednesday
morning, August 20, 1969, at the Hoeper and Kraut Funeral Home, Owen. Rev.
Lowell Anderson of the Alliance Church, Withee, officiated, with burial being
made at Riverside Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers were Frank Rinehard, Dave Jackson, Ronald DeLong, Ted
Piekola, Tom Craft and Roger Afton.
The deceased suffered a heart attack and passed away Sunday, August 17, 1969 at
St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield. He was 61 years of age, being born January
26, 1908 at Waukegan, Ill. He came to the Owen (Clark Co., Wis.) area several
years ago and farmed in the town of Green Grove until 1967, and since that time
had made his home in Abbotsford, California and Owen.
He had never married and is survived by a sister, Mrs. Helen Simancik of
Glendale, California, and several nieces and nephews.
