Brown, Harold T. (1922? – 27 AUG 1969)
Harold T. Brown, 47, of Soledad, died Wednesday evening, August 27, 1969 at Fort
Ord Hospital, after an illness of several weeks. He was a native of Owen (Clark
Co., Wis.) and moved to Soledad 10 years ago. He retired from the United States
Army a year ago, and with his wife, Jean, operated the Pinnacles Café in
Soledad.
Also surviving are three sons, Warren Brown of Withee, Wis., and Roger and
Harold Brown, both of Soledad; four daughters, Mrs. Hazel Hatchett of Rosemead;
Mrs. Carol Martignoni, Mrs. Marian Gilberth and Miss Myra Brown, all of Soledad,
and several grandchildren.
Services were held in the Terry Mortuary Chapel in Soledad. A chaplain from Fort
Ord officiated, and there were military honors during burial in Soledad
Community Cemetery.
