Topeka, Kansas – James V. Barager, son of Mr. and Mrs. James R. Barager of Owen
(Clark Co.), Wisconsin, recently participated in an Air Force Reserve Officers
Train Corps (AFROTC) field training encampment at Forbes AFB, Kansas.
During encampment, cadets become familiar with the life and activities on Air
Force bases and can examine career opportunities in which they might wish to
serve as officers.
Other highlights include survival training, aircraft and aircrew indoctrination,
small arms training and visits to other Air Force bases.
Cadet Barager, who was graduated from high school in Owen, where he was named
salutatorian of his class, is a member of the AFROTC unit at the University of
Wisconsin.
