DeMoss, Raymond L. (2 FEB 1946 – 11 OCT 1969)
Funeral services were held Tuesday, October 14, 1969 at 2:00 p.m. at the
Nazareth Lutheran Church in Withee for Raymond Lee DeMoss, 23, who was killed in
a traffic accident on October 11, 1969 here in Clark County, Wis. Rev. H.W.
Luetkehoelter officiated and burial was made in Reedsburg.
Serving as pallbearers were three nephews, Robert Lockhart, Charles Wilbur, Tom
and Duane Hardy, Kenneth Hardy and Arnold DeLyle.
Raymond Lee DeMoss was born February 2, 1946 at Chicago, Ill., and received his
education in the Owen-Withee school system. He served three years in the Army
and at the time of his death was employed at S. Paul Park, Minn., where he had
made his home.
Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Eleanore DeMoss, Withee; three sisters, Mrs.
Arlyn (Patricia) Boardman, St. Paul, Minn.; Mrs. Vaughn (Gloria) Schaefer,
Okinawa, Japan; Mrs. Sam (Linda) Lockhart, Villa Park, Ill.; the grandparents,
Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Hardy, Withee; and Mr. and Mrs. Raymond DeMoss, Riverside,
California.
