Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Frost returned to their home Wednesday after spending
several days visiting the home of their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs.
William Fisher in Minneapolis.
Weekend guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. James Hansen and Mr. and Mrs. John
Jalling were their sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Bangsberg, of
La Crosse.
Miss Darlene Dickensen, who is employed in Wausau, visited her parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Levi Dickensen and Bonnie, over the weekend.
Mrs. Laura Reingans and Emil Greenwald of Milwaukee spent the past week at the
home of her sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Sachs.
Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Peterson recently moved their household goods to the mobile
home of Bruce Amacher, which they purchase. Mr. and Mrs. Dave Devine and family
moved into the trailer home vacated by the Petersons.
Pvt. Dale Christophersen, who has been stationed at Fort Belvoir, Va., with the
U.S. Army, arrived home Wednesday of last week to spend a two week furlough at
the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gay Christophersen, and with other
relatives and friends in the area. After October 30th he will leave for a tour
overseas duty in Germany.
Mrs. Byril Flaaten, accompanied by her daughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur
Heckenberg and family and her son and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Flaaten and
family of Burlington, Iowa, and Mrs. Thelma O'Mari of Las Vegas, Nevada, arrived
Saturday to visit the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Funk. Mrs. O'Mari and Mrs.
Flaaten wil spend two weeks at the home of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Baum,
Mrs. Priscilla Heuer and Mr. George Funk and sister, Mrs. Dorothy and Mrs. Wm.
Engel, and other relatives and friends in the area.
