Parker, Dorothy (11 JAN 1914 – 24 DEC 1969)

Mrs. Dorothy Parker, 55, of Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), died shortly after noon Wednesday, December 24, 1969, of a heart attack, while driving home from work. Funeral services for Mrs. Dorothy Parker were conducted Saturday December 27 at 10:30 a.m. in the Holy Rosary Catholic Church at owen. Father H.L. Crubel officiating and burial was made in the Riverside Cemetery at Withee. A rosary service was conducted at 8 o'clock Friday at the Hoeper and Kraut Funeral Home in Owen.

The former Dorothy Ebben was born January 11, 1914 in Thorp, and was raised there. Her marriage to Harold Parker, who survives her, took place May 19, 1936 at Thorp. For the past 18 year Mrs. Parker ahs been employed at the Fredrick Post Co. in Owen.

Survivors include her husband, Harold; 2 sons, Donald, at home, and Jack of Green Bay, and 2 daughters, (Pat) Mrs. George Bakke of South St. Paul, Minn., and (Virginia) Mrs. Tom Miller of Owen, and 1 grandson; 3 brothers, Delton Ebben of Thorp; Lester of Ft. Atkinson, and Leo of Kohler; 1 sister, Mrs. Francis Presno (?) of Abbotsford. Shew as preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers and one sister.

The pallbearers are Bert Cattanach, Clarence Kitze, Louis Novak, Jim Riley, Louie Burhop, and Clark Couilliard. Honorary pallbearers will be Claude Alienta (?) and Henry Anderson.
