Bishop, Edna (24 DEC 1895 – 12 AUG 1973)

LOYAL - Mrs. Frank (Edna) Bishop, 77, of route 1. Loyal, died Sunday noon at the Marshfield Convalescent Center, where she had been a resident since October of 1972.

Services will be held at 2 p.m.' Wednesday at the Loyal United Methodist Church The Rev. Eugene Carbon, pastor, will officiate, and burial will be made in the West Spencer cemetery.

Visitations at the Rinka Funeral Home here may be made after 2 p.m. Tuesday and at the church from 9 a m. Wednesday until time of services.

The former Edna Hebert was born Dec. 24,1895, in the town of Unity, and was married there Feb. 24, 1921, to Frank Bishop, who survives her.

The couple had farmed in the Loyal area until moving to Marshfield in 1944, where they lived for 17 years. In 1961. she returned to Loyal, where she resided until entering the Convalescent Center.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Alfred (Fern) Schultz and Mrs. Keith (Shirley) Zinsli, both of route 1, Loyal, and Mrs. Edward (Glenda) Olstinski, route 3, Greenwood, a son, Verle Bishop, Beach, N.D.; a sister, Mrs. Fred (Myrtle) Meacham, route 1, Loyal; three brothers, Lloyd Hebert. Spencer. Glen Hebert. Rhinelander, and Harry Hebert, Beach, N.D.; 17 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were a son, a brother, a granddaughter, and a great-granddaughter.
