Frenzel, Louise M. (Ludwig) (20 MAY 1929 - 23 AUG 2017)

Louise M. Frenzel, 88, of Deer Creek, passed away on August 23, 2017 under the care of Hope Hospice. She was born on May 20, 1929 to Frank and Annie (Reitz) Ludwig. She married Erevin J. Frenzel on January 10, 1948; he preceded her in death on September 12, 1977.

Louise worked most of her life on her dairy farm. She also worked for 20 years at the Centennial Hall as a cook. In her spare time she enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting, gardening, spending time with her grandchildren, and occasional trips to the casino with her friends.

She is survived by her children Alan (Li-Ying) Frenzel of Fort Walton Beach, FL, Sandra (Alvin) Stauner of Pewaukee, Karen (Allan) Wood of Curtiss, Jerry (Suzi) Frenzel of Medford, and Betty (George) Pergolski of Wausau; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, She is further survived by her sister Mary Lou Fechhelm of Medford, brother in law Norm Frenzel of Appleton, and sisters in law Lucille Janke of Medford and Rose Ludwig of Wisconsin Dells.

In addition to her husband and parents, Louise is preceded in death by 5 brothers and 4 sisters and great-granddaughter Kassidy Nicole Nyhus in 2004.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, August 28 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 11:00 AM with Father Michael Hayden officiating followed by burial at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Little Black. Visitation will take place on Monday, August 28 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions, in Louise name may be given to Hope Hospice.
