Dunkel, Judith A. (4 JUL 1943 - 30 AUG 2017)

Judith A. Dunkel, 74, of Rib Lake, passed away Wednesday August 30, 2017 at Rib Lake Health Center, and under the care of Hope Hospice and Palliative Care. Judith was born July 4, 1943 in Medford to George and Minnie (Larson) Dunkel.

She is survived by her siblings: Vernon (Sandra) Dunkel of Rib Lake, Marlene Kulczyski of Grafton, Carol Zimdars of Suakville, and many nieces and nephews.

Judith is preceded in death by her Parents, two Brothers: Donald and Kenneth Dunkel, three sisters: Mae Kelnhofer, Alva Kieth, and Marjorie Kelnhofer.

Judith enjoyed attending baseball games, watching football, picking berries and gardening. Her faith was very important to her, and loved attending church. She was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in the town of Greenwood.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday September 2, 2017 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church. Rev. James Babler will officiate. Burial will follow in the St. Peter’s Lutheran Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday morning at the church from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM.

Memorial donations in honor of Judith can be given to her family, for designation at a later date.
Hemer Funeral Service of Medford and Rib Lake has been entrusted with arrangements.
