Leffel, Lynn M. (5 SEP 1960 – 28 AUG 2017)
Lyn M. Leffel, age 56, of Spencer, died on Monday, August 28, 2017 at House of
the Dove, Marshfield. A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday
September 2, 2017 at The Abbotsford Evangelical Free Church, 4868 Cemetery
Avenue, Abbotsford, WI. Visitation will be held from 9:00 am Saturday until the
time of the service at the church.
She was born September 5, 1960 in Fort Wayne, Indiana, daughter of Menno and
Alma Eby. Lyn attended kindergarten in Decatur, Indiana and grade school in
Bern, Indiana. In 1970 they moved to Spencer, WI where she attended the local
schools in the area. She married Lloyd Hoover, he preceded her in death. In 2003
she married Gary Leffel.
Lyn enjoyed crocheting, camping, gardening, being outside, puzzles, caring for
her puppies and loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband; Gary Leffel, Spencer, children; Angela (Alan)
Martin, International Falls, MN, Trish (Jud) Brown, Strum, WI, Travis Hoover,
Indiana, Kayla (K.J.) Passehl, Athens, WI, DeLora (Josh) Frederickson, Eau
Claire, WI, Tylyn Hoover, Marshfield, Jerica (Tyler) Waldo, Marshfield and
Jenisa Leffel, Spencer, 11 grandchildren with 2 on the way, siblings; Rhea (J.R.)
Hershberger, Tennessee, Iva (Randy) Kauffman, WI, Steven (Donna) Eby, Kentucky,
Jay (Esther) Eby, Missouri, Kay (Daryl) Miller, Minnesota, Dena (Tom) Miller,
Missouri and Orvan (Christy) Eby, South Carolina.
She was preceded in death by a daughter; Kyla and a son; Trevor.
