Dylan’s Den (Moves to New Location – 4 September 2017)
Suzi Breit cuts the ribbon, officially opening the expanded Dylan’s Dan, now
located in the rejuvenated former Christian Science Church at 132 E. 4th Street
in Neillsville. Dylan’s Den, a resource center for all families, was initially
opened early this year in a store front on West Street in Neillsville. Breit,
with the support of family members and friends, created Dylan’s Den as a
positive legacy for her son, Dylan Kell, who died by a self-inflicted gun-shot
Nov. 20, 2016. Dylan’s Den, with the theme of “One More Day,” is a positive
gathering place for kids to hang out, enjoy a nice meal and play games with
other kids. The ribbon-cutting was held on Labor Day, which would have been
Dylan’s birthday. The Neillsville Area Chamber of Commerce facilitated the
event.
