Warner, Roy H. (24 OCT 1892 – 20 JAN 1970)
Roy Harrison Warner, 77, Cadott, died Tuesday afternoon, January 20, 1970 at
River View Manor Nursing Home in Wisconsin Rapids.
He was born in thorp (Clark Co., Wis.) on October 24, 1892, the son of Ara and
Martha Warner, and lived in the Eidsvold area (Clark Co.). In 1909 he moved with
his family to Jump River, and in 1913 was united in marriage to Eva Wood at the
Eidsvold Presbyterian Church. Mr. Warner resided at the River View Manor Nursing
Home in Wisconsin Rapids since September 1969. He was a member of the Methodist
Church.
He is survived by his wife, Eva; two sons, Ronald of Wisconsin Rapids, and
Warren of Palatine, Ill.; two daughters, Mrs. Thelma Petersmeyer of Des Plaines,
Ill., and Mrs. Milton Sebelik of Bradenton, Florida; one brother, Ora of
Mosinee; two sisters, Mrs. Lydia Warner of Mukwonago, and Mrs. Bent Chittenden
fo Santa Anna, California; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday at the United Methodist Church,
Stanley, with Rev. David Fuller officiating. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery,
Stanley.
