Chaplinski, Helen Delores (Przybylski) (4 MAY 1925 - 27 AUG 2017)

Helen Delores Chaplinski, age 92, of Shawano, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 27, 2017. Helen was born in Chicago, Ill. on May 4, 1925 to the late Anthony and Pearl (Figura) Przybylski.

On March 8, 1943, Helen was united in marriage to Victor Chaplinski, who preceded her in death on April 23, 1999.

Helen was a wonderful cook and loved experimenting with new recipes. She enjoyed reading, embroidery, trying new crafts, playing cards and games. More than anything, Helen loved spending time with her family. Helen was a wonderful woman with a warm personality and was welcoming to everyone. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Helen is survived by her children, Antoinette “Toni” (Daniel) Reichow of Minneapolis, Minn. and William (Lynn) Chaplinski of Porterfield; her son-in-law, Larry Usack of Shawano; eight grandchildren, Nikolai Usack, Donovan Chaplinski, Carissa (Curtis) Cutsforth, Brent (Nozomi) Reichow, Jason Barglind, Adam Barglind, Amanda (Ryan) Landry and Aidan (Ben) Horkman; 13 great-grandchildren, Helena, Dayne, Riley, Noa, Erin, Will, Addisen, Cassie, Jaxson, Kolton, Keaton, Neala and Nora. She is further survived by her brother, John (Dorothy) Parker.

Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Victor; her daughter, Lovely Usack; and her parents.

Memorial services for Helen will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 9 at St. Martin Catholic Church in Cecil with Deacon Mike Grzeca officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.

Following the service, a luncheon will be served at the church.
