Mueller, Frank L. (14 MAY 1930 - 5 SEP 2017)
Frank L. Mueller, Age 87, of Stratford, passed away on Tuesday, September 5,
2017 at Marshfield Medical Center.
His memorial service will be held at 2PM on Sunday, September 10, 2017 at
Ebenezer United Church of Christ - Stratford with Pastor Doris Ruben
officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with military honors
conducted by the Stratford VFW Post 6352. Family and friends are invited to
gather on Sunday at the church from 12 noon until the time of service. The honor
of pallbearer will belong to Frank’s grandchildren.
Frank was born May 14, 1930 in the Town of Wien on the North side of Fenwood,
the son of Edwin and Alma (Grosskreutz) Mueller. He entered the United States
Army in 1956 and was honorably discharged in 1957. Frank was united in marriage
to Allene Kipp on August 20, 1955 at Ebenezer United Church of Christ in
Stratford. He farmed for a time on the South side of Fenwood and owned and
operated a bar in Fenwood.
He was a member of Ebenezer United Church of Christ in Stratford. Frank was an
amazing carpenter, he built his own residence and his daughter’s without
blueprints, built special order birdhouses and even a fancy dog house. His
hobbies included fishing, bowling, baseball and softball. He always had a sense
of humor and was never at a loss for words even in his last days. He loved
spending time with his family and friends.
Frank will be greatly missed by his wife Allene of 62 years, his children: Gaile
Weiler of Port Edwards, Linda (Rob Flegner) Kislow of Weston, Randy (Erin)
Mueller of Stoughton and Roy (Stacey) Mueller of Stratford; his sisters: Melva
(Vernon) Nehring of Fenwood and Arline Koehler of Marathon; his brothers: Allen
(Elaine) Mueller of Edgar, Elgart Mueller of Edgar and Elton Mueller of Phoenix,
AZ and his 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Edwin and Alma Mueller; his two brothers
and sisters-in-law Edwin (Shirley) Mueller and Ervin (Darleen) Mueller; his two
sisters-in-law Eleanor and Juanita Mueller and his two brothers-in-law Willard
Wiesman and Lester Koehler.
